Home Objective Activities Competition Timetable Results

The objectives of this project shall be realised by this partnership through of two public seminars and a transnational competition “The EU in a Fairy Tale” and other activities for the promotion of the project.

In the execution of the L.I.T.T.L.E. project’s activities we predict to reach approximately 720,000 European citizens.

The main objective of project L.I.T.T.L.E. is to communicate the values and morals of the European Union, such as pluralism, tolerance, solidarity, non-discrimination and respect for diversity (in relation to the European Constitution), through fairy tales and children’s literature which are effective means for relaying important issues to children. In this way, project L.I.T.T.L.E. will promote the use of children’s literature as an effective instrument in communicating the EU values.

Target group

The main target group for this project are children, as it is to them that the values of the EU shall be relayed. However, the project also aims to inform all individuals working with children, as well as parents, teachers, leaders of children’s associations (such as Scouts), and leaders of play groups, informing them of these and more complex topics in the EU that involve children and children’s rights and supplying them with links to EU institutions at their disposition.
